AVCNA 37 Convention- "Never Alone, Never Again"

The Annual Virginia Convention of Narcotics Anonymous will be held in Richmond this year, at the Richmond Marriott 500 E. Broad St, Richmond VA 23219 (804) 943-4100 Convention Rate Code: AVCNA.

Thanksgiving Marathon Meetings

Don't spend the holiday isolated and lonely. Sometimes, we can't be with our families on the holiday. Don't be alone.  Come hang out with your N.A. family!  There will be food, fun and fellowship.  This is a FREE event.  If you are able to bring food, please do!

Host and sub-committee members for the 36th AVCNA will meet with the VRCC in Charlottesville.  Be there for open forum at noon, the meeting is gaveled to order at 1:00PM.

     Virginia Regional Convention Corporation serves the recovering addicts of the Central Atlantic Region of Narcotics Anonymous. There are 16 areas in our region. All meetings are from 1:00 - 4:00 pm, preceded by open forum at 12:00. We meet the 3rd Sunday of every other month. The Meeting Location is:

Fall For Recovery Bonfire & Chili Contest

36th AVCNA Fundraiser Event.  3pm registration begins. Enjoy fellowship, hike to the falls, etc. 5pm-7pm Chili contest, bring your best, already made chili and enter to win bragging rights and a registration to the convention.  Members will vote on best chili. 7pm-10pm, bonfire, marshmallow roast, speaker at 8:30pm. AVCNA Chicken & Waffles Fundraiser and Speaker Jam

This is a fundraiser.  Food will be sold, beginning in the morning with chicken and waffles (until 12:30) then fried chicken, sides and drinks throughout the afternoon.

Also available for purchase will be swanky NA gear! Including per-convention t shirts, plus other neat stuff from our warehouse! Limited quantities.

Speakers from far and wide will be sharing their experience, strength, and hope, all afternoon and into the evening.  These events really deliver buckets of hope, and can "turbocharge" one's recovery!

Annual Labor Day Picnic

The Roanoke Valley Area of Narcotics Anonymous Activities Subcommittee presents the Annual Labor Day Picnic at Wasena Park.  This is a family event, so bring the kids! 

    There will be three speakers, games, food, fun, and fellowship. 

There will also be fundraising activities and merchandise for sale to help support the AVCNA Convention in January.

$5.00 suggested donation, but no addict will be turned away due to lack of funds. (Please consider helping with set up or clean up if unable to contribute.)

Bring a side dish if you are able to.
