AVCNA Chicken & Waffles Fundraiser and Speaker Jam

St. Mark's Lutheran Church

This is a fundraiser.  Food will be sold, beginning in the morning with chicken and waffles (until 12:30) then fried chicken, sides and drinks throughout the afternoon.

Also available for purchase will be swanky NA gear! Including per-convention t shirts, plus other neat stuff from our warehouse! Limited quantities.

Speakers from far and wide will be sharing their experience, strength, and hope, all afternoon and into the evening.  These events really deliver buckets of hope, and can "turbocharge" one's recovery!

Annual Labor Day Picnic

The Roanoke Valley Area of Narcotics Anonymous Activities Subcommittee presents the Annual Labor Day Picnic at Wasena Park.  This is a family event, so bring the kids! 

    There will be three speakers, games, food, fun, and fellowship. 

There will also be fundraising activities and merchandise for sale to help support the AVCNA Convention in January.

$5.00 suggested donation, but no addict will be turned away due to lack of funds. (Please consider helping with set up or clean up if unable to contribute.)

Bring a side dish if you are able to.

Virginia Regional Convention Corporation serves the recovering addicts of the Virginian Regional of Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland and West Virginia Area. Where is the VRCC? The VRCC serves the Central Atlantic Region including parts ofMaryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Virginia. There are 16 areas in our region.
All meetings are from 1-4 pm preceded by open forum at 12:00. We meet the third Sunday of every other month.

NA Memorial Day Picnic

The Activities Subcommittee of the Roanoke Valley Area of Narcotics Anonymous is holding the annual Memorial Day Picnic at Wasena Park.  Burgers, Hot Dogs, soda, etc. Bring a side dish if you are able.

$5.00 (includes hot dog, hamburger, chips, and soda) No addict will be turned away due to lack of funds, but please consider set up or break down service work if unable to pay.

Bring sports equipment, Frisbees, etc. if desired.

ALSO:  The 36th AVCNA Pre-Convention Subcommittee will be holding BINGO and a 50/50 raffle.

Two night primitive camping, Saturday night meal, with registration $25.

Children 12 and over $15.

Attendee with RV's and those who want cabins must register individually with Virginia State Parks.  Dogs are permitted, but must be kept leashed at all time.  Must provide proof of rabies and other vaccinations at check in.
